Making annotations is a great way to track ideas while you read a text. You can make your annotations directly on the text itself, or you can write them on a sticky note. An annotation is any kind of mark - writing symbols, comments, circling, underlining, etc.!

- Write a combination of symbols and comments on the story
- Write at least 6 annotations on each side of the paper
